How every Daughters Baking door should be set
The in-market reference for any Daughters associate. Set the door in brand order, front to back and handle to hinge, then photograph the win. One-page sales aids with UPCs are coming to this tab next.
Brand order
Position 1 is always closest to the freezer door handle; the last position sits at the hinge. The hinge may be on the left or right of the door, so read this rail from handle to hinge — not strictly left to right.

Shelf & signage standards
Eye level wins
Daughters Baking sits at shopper eye level (shelf 2 or 3 of the door). Anything below knee level or above reach gets re-negotiated with the manager on the visit.
Full shelf is optimal
Fill the shelf front to back and side to side. Gaps read as 'discontinued' to shoppers — pull stock forward and raise the standing order instead of spreading product thin.
Blocked by flavor, left to right
One flavor per column in brand order. No mixing rows, no stacking cups off-column. A shopper should find a flavor in under three seconds.
Labels face out
Every flavor label reads cleanly through the glass — no nutrition panels or lids turned forward, no tilted or leaning cups.
One static cling — max and min
Exactly one Daughters Baking static cling per freezer door. Never zero, never two. Replace faded or peeling clings on the spot.
Price and tag visible
Shelf tag present, accurate, and directly under the correct flavor column so pricing is captured in every close-up photo.
7+ facings per outlet
Count total facings across the whole store, including secondary placements. Seven or more is the target for a fully supported outlet.
Rotate first-in, first-out
Oldest code dates to the front. Pull anything short-dated before it becomes a write-off and log it on the visit.
Merchandising wins
Capture doors set to standard so the whole team has a visual benchmark.
Shoot the full door straight on, then a close-up that captures the shelf tag and pricing.
No merchandising wins yet — the first perfectly set door goes here.
